The
first step in your orthodontic treatment is the initial consultation.
You do not need a referral from a dentist but if you do have a
referral letter or X-Ray please bring it along on this visit.

be contacted to arrange a date and time please fill in the information
below or contact the surgery
On
a first visit the orthodontist will examine the patient in
detail. X-Rays, if necessary, will also be taken on this visit. From the X-Ray
and examination they will decide if any treatment is recommended for the
patient. If treatment is recommended, the orthodontist will go through with you in detail
what would be involved in treatment. What appliances would have to be worn,
will extractions be necessary, how long will treatment last? You will have the
opportunity to answer any questions you may have.
They
will also give you a QUOTE
for the treatment.
There
will be a fee for the consultation. This can vary from €50-€70. Any fee
paid for the consultation will be taken off the total price quoted.
